Castletownbere Business Development Association was formed in 1996.  This venture was designed to develop and improve the facilities in Castletownbere.  Anybody wishing to become a member of the Association  can do so for £25 annually.  The sponsorship is at your own discretion.  By becoming a sponsor you will receive advertisement in our regatta brochure and you will be supporting the activities of the organisation which is gratefully appreciated.

This year's project will be the refurbishment of the playground in Castletownbere.

The cost of this will be £60,000.  We have been granted 50% funding for this and need to raise the remainder ourselves.  We are hoping to raise this £30,000 through Sponsorship, Fund Raising events and various Donations.  Anyone wishing to contribute to this worthy Project or indeed to our Entertainment activities may do so by contacting any member of the committee.

We are also involved in the following Activities:

TIDY TOWNS

This involves planting and maintaining Flower Beds, general cleaning and tidying of the Town area.  One of the projects this year was cleaning the Grotto at the North Road.
