Planning on visiting Beara?  Stay in our comfortable and relaxing hostel on the Dursey Sound.  Spend your days walking and enjoying the wonderful wildlife on Dursey Island, or along the coast of Beara.  In the evenings, you can always pull up a chair in the sun and enjoy an outdoor meal and drinks while you watch the local fishing boats hard at work. 

When your body and soul have had enough relaxation you can take a trip to Castletownbere and use the fully equipped gym (including a wonderful sauna), or take in a round of golf at the Berehaven Golf Club.   

Take a swim in the beautiful sandy beach within a mile of  the house, one of the safest in Cork.  Or you may wish to travel a further 4 miles to Allihies where there is also a lovely sandy beach..  Allihies is one of the remaining traditional Irish villages and impromptu sessions in the local bars can happen at any time in the afternoon.   Regular sessions are also to be enjoyed during the evening.  Restaurants there will tempt you with their varied menus and give you the evening off from cooking.

At the end of your day you will have a peaceful and comfortable house to stay in.   In the living room you can relax and watch the spectacular views or just some T.V (your choice).  Upstairs we have 3 double rooms, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 large single room, providing accommodation for 8 people. Our house is fully equipped with fitted kitchen and utility room, incl. washing machine, dryer, electric cooker, and large fridge.
